This workshop teaches the basics in Stained Glass.
No previous glass experience is needed. During the
three hour class, students will complete a small project
using glass they select from a variety of colors
and textures. Two patterns are available to
choose from. Students will learn how to handle glass,
cut and grind glass, apply copper foil, and solder
pieces together. Glass is included in the class
price and all tools are supplied.

Intro To Stained Glass - 10am to 1pm

For students who have taken Intro To Stained Glass
with JoeL, you now have the experience to do a
piece of your own design!

In this 3-hour open studio students will be provided
with their own work station. A work station includes
a grinder, safety glasses, a soldering iron and
scissors. Students must purchase the glass needed
for their project, along with a glass cutter, breaking
pliers and materials to complete the project.
We suggest students begin their projects at home,
tracing and cutting glass so they can start using
the grinder to shape and fit pieces to their
pattern as soon as they arrive.

Instructor JoeL will be available for
guidance with each students project.

A materials kit will be available to
purchase for $25 in class.

The kit includes:
5 ft of Solder
1oz. bottle of Soldering Flux w/brush
25 ft. of Copper Foil
6 ft of Lead Came

Students still need to purchase the glass for their
project. We don't offer glass because each project
is different in color and size.

Ages 16+ welcome.
