This workshop teaches the basics in Stained Glass. No previous glass experience is needed. During the three hour class, students will complete a small project using glass they select from a variety of colors and textures. Two patterns are available to choose from. Students will learn how to handle glass, cut and grind glass, apply copper foil, and solder pieces together. Glass is included in the class price and all tools are supplied. Learn to make a stained glass flower in this unique 2-hour stained glass workshop! Beginners are welcome in this introductory stained glass class. Each student will create a simple one-piece flower pattern while learning to safely handle, cut and grind glass, apply copper foil, and learn soldering techniques. After your first flower is completed you may continue making as many flowers as time allows. You may also like to explore creating a two or three-piece flower pattern that will be available.
